Press ReleasesNews from December 2010
20th December 2010 Castle Design Solutions have just completed a major upgrade to their website. The upgraded website was designed to coincide with the launch of a comprehensive new range of search engine optimisation services. Due to the size and range of the SEO services now being offered, it was felt that the old website would not have been able to deal with this increase in services. The new website is now easier to navigate and, we hope, provides a more user friendly and enjoyable experience for the website visitor. The new website has been completely reorganised to make the site easier to navigate for visitors. Whereas the old website had a large menu choice for different sections of the website, the new website has been given a much simpler layout. Our two main products – web design and search engine optimisation are accessible directly from the homepage, from introductory sections, along with an introductory section on our latest web design special offers. The top menu now only has six choices – apart from the link to the home page. An ‘about us’ section, the four main product areas, and then the pricing page. All further pages are then accessible through sub-menus in these main sections. The ‘about us’ section of the website has been broken down into sections too. This process is repeated throughout the new website design to make it easier, simpler and quicker for web design customers to find exactly the web design feature or web design process that they are looking for. In the ‘about us’ section of the website design, the website menu is broken down into what we do, our web design services, our after sales customer care and a further section on where we are. Within the where we are section are separate sections for contact details for both of the regional offices in Stoke-on-Trent and Garelochhead, and then further pages for each regional office. These individual office pages give more in depth contact details for the offices in Stoke-on-Trent and Garelochhead, along with a map of the Staffordshire and Cheshire area showing where the Stoke-on-Trent office can be found, and a map of the Argyll & Bute area, showing the Rosneath Peninsula and the area just above Helensburgh on the Gareloch, where the Garelochhead office can be found. In time, we will also be adding a regional coverage section to show which of the two offices in Stoke-on-Trent and Garelochhead you would need to contact for web design services in your area. As more regional offices get added the map will then be adjusted, but at the moment we are operating only out of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire and Garelochhead in Argyll and Bute. The web design section of our website has been designed to make it much easier for our customers to find the specific website design service that best suits their individual web design requirements. The web design section is broken into the following sub sections: domain names, static websites, content management systems, dynamic websites, ecommerce websites, website add-ons, web hosting, website content and our web design portfolio. We have also made it easier for customers to understand how each different type of website works by adding web design examples into the static website section, the content management system section, the dynamic website section and the ecommerce website section. The hope of this is that it will allow our web design customers to better understand which type of website design would best suit them. Web hosting has been incorporated into the web design section of the new website design as people often only consider their web hosting services when looking at having web design carried out. Despite this, our low cost web hosting services remain available to all customers no matter whether they are having website design work carried out or not. Our search engine optimisation section of the website has now been given much greater prominence than it did in the old website design. We wont go into all of the details of what we now offer in our search engine optimisation services as these will be covered in a separate press release which will be going out at the same time as this one. However, as a rough guide, our search engine optimisation section has been given this greater prominence due to the much higher level and range of search engine optimisation services that we now offer. The SEO section of our site is broken down into no fewer than fifteen sub sections, with some of these sub sections having further sub sections within the SEO section of the website. The fifteen areas of search engine optimisation covered are: Our SEO packages (the six levels of initial SEO services that we do along with the five monthly SEO packages that we offer as an ongoing search engine optimisation service), website SEO health checks, keyword, sitemaps, social bookmarking and social networking, Article writing and submission, back linking (made up of basic directory backlinking submissions and high page ranking directory backlinking submissions), press releases, Rss feeds, forum backlinking and forum thread posts, blog commenting services, blog reviews, DMOZ directory submissions, Website visitor analysis and tracking, and finally pay per click services (although the pay per click services are listed in the SEO section of the website only to point out that pay per click services are not a part of search engine optimisation techniques, but rather a website marketing service). The SEO secyion of our website is extremely comprehensive and was the main reason that our web designers felt the need to carry out the web design upgrade. The Graphic design section of our website has also been made much simpler. The graphic design section is broken up into four grahic design sub sections: graphic design for company branding, graphic design for marketing, graphic design for web design and web applications, and finally bespoke graphic design services. This simpler website layout gives a much clearer understanding of the graphic design services that we offer and the applications to which they can be put. Our graphic designers also carry out graphic design work for Castle Printing Solutions customers, so this part of the website was redesigned in order to reflect the new range of graphic design services that we are now carrying out in relation to this printing work, and also to highlight our new low cost graphic design prices. A brand new section of our new website design is the marketing section. We have used the marketing section, in some ways for the elements of our service that do not fit neatly into a web design category, or which may be only related to web design. The marketing section is broken down into four sub sections: printing, email marketing services and templates, online invoicing services and pay per click advertising. None of these services are directly related to web design, but rather they are services that people often consider using when having a website designed. The final part of the main menu is the pricing section. This section is broken down into web design pricing, search engine optimisation pricing, graphic design pricing and marketing services pricing pages. By putting each of the different section’s pricing on different web pages we have made it easier for our customers to find and see exactly how much each stage of the design process is going to cost them. The main layout of the new website design has been completely redesigned. We have gone for a more professional web design layout, with each web page keeping the same company branding throughout the website. We have kept the same Castle Design Solutions- we intend to create a website at your request according to your specifications logo on every page, along with the professional web solutions at affordable prices banner on every web page. We have also completely redesigned the bottom section of every web page. We have done away with the contact us section, preferring to have a contact form and contact details for both our Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire office and our Garelochhead, Argyll & Bute office on every page. There are also email links to both our Stoke-on-Trent office and our Garelochhead office on every page. Also in this section is a link to follow us on facebook through our Castle Design Solutions facebook page, our Castle Design Solutions mission statement and a link to twelve months of press releases relating to our web design work, and a link to older archived press releases relating to our web design work. There are also links to pages regarding our terms and conditions, privacy policy, payment options, third party services and career opportunities within our web design company. We felt that it was very important to have the contact form and contact details available on every page, so as to save our customers having to leave the page they were on as they were sending us messages regarding requests and questions abut web design.
20th December 2010 When Castle Design Solutions first launched in May 2010, the decision was taken to offer only simple and inexpensive search engine optimisation packages. The world of search engine optimisation had become a murky one, full of SEO companies making empty promises, charging a fortune and delivering little. As our company ethic is to provide the very best quality and value for money, we decided not to offer anything more advanced than our basic small business and corporate packages – which literally did the basics of search engine optimisation – until we had carried out detailed and extensive research into the way to offer thorough search engine optimisation packages which offered the very best value for money and delivered proven results. Following seven months of intensive work, we are now in a position to launch our updated SEO packages. We have broken down each constituent part of search engine optimisation work and listed its benefits and costs. Website owners are free to then use this list as an SEO menu, picking and choosing the elements of SEO that they believe will work best for them and for their company, within their company budget. However, we also recognise that effective search engine optimisation is a complicated process, and one that most of our customers will know very little about – and a little knowledge is a dangerous thing! We have, therefore, also developed six packages for our customers. These packages have been developed based upon ten years experience within the industry, followed up by seven months of intensive research into the most up to date and effective methods of SEO improvement. The six different packages offer six different levels of search engine optimisation that cater to every budget, from the very small to the hugely extravagant. We recognise, however, that most companies do not have extravagant budgets, and so even the smallest budget should deliver significant page ranking improvements. All of our new SEO services will be carried out manually, unlike many of our competitors who use computer generation to create backlinks, article submissions and keyword spamming to produce very poor results. Whether we are creating directory backlinks, submitting articles or creating forum and blog postings, each process will be carried out manually after research into targeted and relevant directories, forums and blogs, and manually confirmed to ensure that the link or submission has gone live. We will also use a slow submission process so that the search engines recognise organic growth of links and do not ban your website from the search engine listings for spamming. Spamming is a constant problem with the computer generated linking method. Unlike many of our competitors, we will not make empty promises or guarantees regarding our SEO efforts. Instead, we will show you tried and tested results, and employ methods that produce positive and long-term results. We have put our money where out mouth is and used these search engine optimisation techniques on our new printing website, Castle Printing Solutions, and will be posting the results of our SEO work next month – three months after the website was launched. The six search engine optimisation packages that we have created are called Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Kryptonite. The Kryptonite package has an out of this world name and an out of this world cost to go with it. However, for larger websites and companies it still reflects genuine value for money and produces truely outstanding results. For the majority of our customers though, we recognise that you will be looking for something a little more realistic than our Kryptonite SEO package. The Bronze package starts from only £99, with even the gold package costing only £399. Any of our packages will provide a significant level of improvement to your website’s page ranking, though obviously the more you invest in SEO, the more you will get out of it. As well as these one off services, we have also created monthly packages for ongoing search engine optimisation campaigns. Monthly packages make a huge impact on page ranking. recognising that a commitment to a monthly SEO package is a big commitment, these have been created so that the cost of them is slightly less than the initial starter SEO service of the equivelent level for most of the packages. Whatever SEO package you decide to use we are confident that you will not be disappointed with the results. In addition to the six levels of SEO packages that we are offering, we also offer three different SEO products within each level. The basic product is based solely around increasing backlinks to your website. All of these back links are carefully researched and targeted, built manually, and created gradually to achieve maximum results. The back links are created through a mixture of directory submissions, article writing and submission, blog posts and commenting services, forum posts and threads, press releases, social bookmarking links and search engine submissions among others. The number of different techniques used, and the number of back links created through each package reflects the different levels of each SEO package. The Opta packages use all of the back linking methods included in the basic package, but also employ some basic optimisation techniques to check on the health of your website’s design, content and keywords. Where required we will revise keywords to produce more effective results and add meta tags to your site to aid the search engines. Finally, the Opta Plus SEO packages employ all of the techniques used in the Opta SEO packages, but also involve a comprehensive optimisation of your website to improve your website’s page ranking. This comprehensive search engine optimisation service includes a full optimisation of existing pages (page limits apply depending on the SEO package you are using), addition of title tags and image tags, revision of content to a more search engine friendly format – based on keyword use and exploitation, installation and submission of a XML sitemap and the installation of website tracking software to monitor the results. We strongly recommend using the Opta Plus package that fits your budget. The addition of high quality back links will always help your website gain a higher page ranking, but a holistic approach will definately produce the most effective and long lasting results for search engine optimisation. Using the same budget for a higher number of back links, or less back links but more optimisation is an easy call. Always go for the full optimisation. All of our Search engine optimisation packages are discounted in price compared to the cost of the individual products, and designed to bring the most effective results. However, if you do not find a package that suits your budget, or you have specific techniques which you wish us to employ for you, then we can create bespoke packages, though we cannot guarantee the same level of discount for bespoke packages. An investment in high quality search engine optimisation is always worthwhile and you get back far more than you ever put in.
1st December 2010 We are pleased to announce that we have a new team member at Castle Design Solutions. In advance of our plans to open a new office in Garelochhead, Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute, we have created a new marketing role to market our web design services in the Helensburgh area. The main focus of the role will be to approach local businesses in the area around Garelochhead and make them aware of our web design services, informing them of the design services we offer in creating websites. In line with our usual approach, the role is not a sales role. It is more to be a local point of contact for companies wishing to take advantage of our website design, graphic design and search engine optimisation services. The companies we are hoping to attract will be mainly from the Garelochhead area, the Rosneath peninsula, including Kilcreggan and Clynder, Helensburgh and Rhu, Cardross, Dumbarton, the Vale of Leven, including Alexandria, Renton, and Balloch, and into Dumbarton, Clydebank and Glasgow. As a company, we specialise in creating websites for small business. We are very pleased to now be offering our web design services to businesses in the Helensburgh area. There may well be businesses in Helensburgh and Dumbarton, and the surrounding area, who have not previously considered having a website. We are hoping that once they see the web design services that we are able to offer that they will be keen to use the services of a professional web design company who can offer affordable web design services to businesses in Argyll & Bute, Dunbartonshire and Glasgow. 14th December 2010 Castle Design Solutions have just completed a new website for L&D UPVC Limited, from Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. L&D UPVC Limited were looking for a web design company to create a new company logo and professional website design for the company. They wanted a website design that would show their customers the services that they supply, and also portray the company image of being an honest, friendly, local company. L&D UPVC supply PVC fascias, soffits, cladding and rainwater sytems throughout the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire areas. They are a family company who are proud of their motto to offer an honest job for an honest price – much like Castle Design Solutions web design services. You can see the L&D UPVC Limited website at: As well as our web design and company logo design services, L&D UPVC also took advantage of our domain name purchase and web hosting services.
